2020 Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal
Under current restrictions, this year’s Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal has moved
online. It is not possible to send gift-filled shoeboxes from Ireland this year, so Team Hope
are asking that people create shoeboxes online, by selecting items through their website
which will be purchased by local partners in the recipient areas across Africa and Eastern
Europe. The shoeboxes will then be delivered directly to the children.
Last year, families from Lurgybrack donated 160 gift-filled shoeboxes to the appeal. Ms
Browne’s class are asking Lurgybrack to #TeamUpForTeamHope again this year, by
donating a small amount to the appeal. Children can bring a small donation, in a sealed
envelope, to be collected on or before Tuesday 8th December. Donations will then be
counted and virtual shoeboxes assembled for donation.
