On Wednesday 31st of May 2023, our girls senior football team played in the FAI Primary School Finals in the Aviva stadium. The team included Lily Grace, Cari, Isla, Ella, Emma, Tara, Ruby and Kayla. After winning in the catergory B final and becoming the Ulster Champion, the team qualified for the National Finals.
There was great excitement and support around the school in the lead up to the final and on the day we made our way with our fantastic supporters to the Aviva.
The team played some fantastic football and just missed out on third place by goal difference. The were extremely competitive in all games and showed heart and courage throughout a very memorable day.
Sincere thanks to everyone who traveled to support the girls and a special thanks to Mrs. Morrison and Mrs. Danielle Fay who did such fantastic work with the girls. Thanks again to Mr. Leonard Watson for sponsoring tracksuits for the squad.
