Scór 2019

On Friday 5th April, the two fourth classes went to Colaiste Ailligh for Scór 2019.We went to represent our school St. Patrick’s N.S. All of us had a great time. Six categories were done; solo singing, group ballad singing, instrumental group, dramaíocht, solo dancing and storytelling. I was in the grúpa dramaíocht. Kacey Hegarty did solo dancing and Tara Gildea did the poem/storytelling. It was a big competition. All the schools were really good. The schools were; Scoil Mhuire Gán Smál, Scoil Cholmcille, Gaelscoil, Glassan N.S and Stramore N.S. The overall winners of the competition were Scoil Mhuire Gán Smál. We came second in the dramaíocht and got a medal. It was a wonderful opportunity to be included in such an amazing competition. By Erin Hughes, 4th class
