On Tuesday the 22nd of November myself and 15 girls and boys from 5th class went to Glenswilly to play indoor gaelic. There were 8 boys on the boy’s team and 8 girls on the girl’s team. Mr Reynolds managed our team and Ms Callaghan managed the girl’s team. We played in a hall beside the Glenswilly pitch. Our first game was against Rathdonnell it was 5 a side so there was 3 subs. We won the game comfortably by 6 points. Our second game was against Illistrin. It was a really tight match but a couple of late scores won us the game by 2 points. Our third game was against Glenswilly we knew they were a strong team and they beat us. Going into the last match against Stramore we knew we couldn’t qualify because Glenswilly had played all 4 games and won all of them but we still gave it everything and won by 3 points. It was a great day out and thanks to Ms Callaghan and Mr Reynolds for bringing us along.
