3rd class, with help from 6th, were developing problem solving skills through concepts of computational thinking and coding using Bee Bots. Bee Bots are exciting programmable robots designed for use by children. They are a great resource to introduce simple programming and coding to children. These easy to operate and friendly robots are a perfect tool for teaching directionality, sequencing, estimation and problem-solving. The children had to use specific vocabulary associated with coding and understand that they can control the device by creating simple algorithms.
