This year we are celebrating Active schools week a little differently as we are all at home! However, that is no reason to not stay fit and active, give yourselves brain breaks and enjoy the lovely weather.!!
We have been kindly sent some links from local fitness coaches to share with you. As well as that check out some of these links for more active home ideas.
Don’t forget our Active Flag slogan from last year:
Hop, Skip, Jump and Play,
Let’s get Active Everyday!
1. Sarah-Marie from PineHill Studios has kindly sent us dance videos that we may share with the kids as part of ‘Active Home Week’, or anytime that suits.
Link One below is a warm up and is suitable for junior classes: (it lasts 3 mins and is great fun)
Link One :
Link two comprises the breakdown of a dance with instructions and link three is the dance put together to music. Suitable for middle and senior classes. This age group could also do the warm up in link one.
