SARI

On Thursday 29th of November SARI came to visit the school for 2 days. SARI means Sport Against Racism Ireland. Three of the volunteers came in to speak to us about Racism, Sexism and discrimination in general. They talked to us about how they had been discriminated themselves and they played games with us. They played head and catch with us which was teaching us to think before we speak. In the second game they taught us about teamwork and how important it is. In the final game they tricked us into discriminating against our team captains by not passing them the ball and seeing if they would lie about the amount of passes they received. Overall everyone really enjoyed the experience.
