Stanley the Scarecrow
The boys in Ms. Browne’s class had great fun making Stanley the Scarecrow! Stanley is heading off to Doagh Famine Village to compete in The Herron Scarecrow Competition next weekend. We wish him the best of luck, but it’s the taking part that matters!!!
Visit to Donegal Donkey Sanctuary
The children from An Crann Óg visited Donegal Donkey Sanctuary this week. We met Danny Curran, who runs the sanctuary and rescues donkeys from all over Ireland.We had a lovely time learning about caring for the donkeys and we got to take turns grooming Quiney.
